DPS Vasant Vihar, Step by Step, Mother’s International, and G.D. Goenka have advanced to the semifinals in the boys’ under-17 category of the Oriental Cup 2026 at Dr Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi. In the quarterfinals, DPS Vasant Vihar made a strong comeback to beat DPS R.K. Puram 3-1, securing their spot in the next round.
Step by Step School, Noida, also secured a semifinal berth by defeating St. Francis De Sales Senior Secondary School 2-1 in a closely fought match. Mother’s International School claimed their spot in the semis with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Mount Carmel School, Dwarka. Additionally, G.D. Goenka School, Dwarka, sealed their place in the semifinals with a convincing 2-0 win against Vasant Valley School.
The Oriental Cup 2026 will continue with the highly anticipated semifinals featuring both Boys’ and Girls’ categories. The tournament, hosting over 1,500 student-athletes from more than 45 teams in Delhi-NCR, offers an increased prize pool and a ₹2.5 lakh scholarship program for deserving student-athletes.
