Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva arrived in New Delhi to attend the AI Impact Summit, expressing his commitment to strengthening ties and discussing the future of artificial intelligence. Upon his arrival, he received a grand traditional welcome and shared his excitement for enhancing cooperation and opportunities between Brazil and India.

During his visit, President Lula will participate in the India–AI Impact Summit and hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted the close relationship between India and Brazil, emphasizing shared values and a commitment to inclusive growth.

President Lula, accompanied by a high-level business delegation, aims to deepen commercial relations between the two countries. With bilateral trade surpassing US$ 15 billion in 2025, both leaders are set to review various aspects of their relationship during the State Visit.

President Lula’s visit marks a significant opportunity to strengthen the Strategic Partnership between India and Brazil, focusing on key sectors such as trade, investment, defense, energy, and technology. The visit underscores the shared vision of both nations on international issues and the potential for further collaboration.
