Hazaribagh is abuzz with pride as Chandan Kumar, a talented student from Kora, gears up to present his vision for Viksit Bharat 2047 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chandan has been chosen for the esteemed Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, scheduled from January 9 to 12 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

At the national-level event, Chandan will discuss Aatmanirbhar Bharat, representing not just Hazaribagh but the entire Jharkhand state among top policymakers and intellectuals. His upcoming participation is viewed as a powerful and motivating voice from Jharkhand on the national platform.

Chandan Kumar’s journey is quite extraordinary. Starting as a diligent student, he once assisted his father in a small bicycle repair shop to support the family. Having earned an engineering degree from Vinoba Bhave University, he is currently undergoing training at NTPC. His selection for the Young Leaders Dialogue follows a rigorous selection process, underscoring the significance of his achievement.

Expressing his pride and gratitude, Chandan described the opportunity to present his vision before the Prime Minister as a dream come true. He expressed thanks to PM Narendra Modi for establishing a national platform that empowers young minds to contribute to the nation’s future.

Chandan’s chosen theme, “Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Make in India, Make for the World,” emphasizes the importance of producing high-quality goods meeting global standards and demand for achieving self-reliance. He stressed that the quality and global relevance of products are crucial for India’s self-reliance. Chandan highlighted that ideas shared during the dialogue influence government policies, marking a significant accomplishment for any student.
