The brother of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Rahul Kumar fell victim to a chain snatching incident in Patna when two assailants on a motorcycle attacked him near Sai Mandir in the Kankarbagh police station area. The criminals swiftly snatched the gold chain from Rohit Kumar’s neck and fled the scene, as captured by nearby CCTV cameras.
Local residents were alarmed by the incident, which led to a gathering of onlookers at the spot. Police from the Kankarbagh station promptly responded to the situation and launched an investigation into the chain snatching incident involving MLA Rahul Kumar’s brother. Station House Officer Abhay Kumar indicated that the crime was likely committed by two individuals on a motorcycle.
Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity and utilizing intelligence resources to identify and apprehend the suspects.
