Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao pledged to provide round-the-clock safe drinking water to every household in Hyderabad if the party is voted back to power. He highlighted the BRS government’s success in ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply in Telangana and expressed the commitment to extend the same to water supply in Hyderabad.
K.T. Rama Rao criticized the previous Congress rule in Telangana, citing long power cuts and water scarcity. He emphasized the positive changes brought about by the current government, including 24-hour power supply and the Mission Bhagiratha initiative for piped water supply.
Asserting his confidence in replicating the success of uninterrupted power supply, K.T. Rama Rao assured that the BRS government would focus on implementing a 24/7 drinking water supply in Hyderabad. He attributed the achievements in power supply to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and expressed his personal commitment to ensuring the water supply program’s success.
Launching a scathing attack on the Congress government, K.T. Rama Rao accused them of failing to deliver on their promises to the public. He criticized the lack of progress in developmental projects for Hyderabad and accused the Chief Minister of taking credit for projects initiated during the BRS regime.
