Leading exchange firm BSE Limited announced that it addressed 183 investor complaints involving 117 companies in April 2026. During the same period, the exchange received 168 complaints against 117 companies but managed to resolve more complaints than it received. The resolved complaints also included pending cases from previous periods, showcasing continuous grievance redressal efforts on the exchange platform.

As of April 2026, three companies had the highest number of unresolved investor complaints lasting over a month. JSW Steel Limited led with nine pending complaints, followed by Hindustan Unilever Ltd. with four complaints, and HBL Engineering Limited with three complaints. However, the nature of these complaints was not disclosed by BSE Limited.

Comparatively, in February 2026, BSE resolved 150 complaints against 114 companies while receiving 113 new complaints. This data indicated a trend where the number of resolved complaints surpassed the fresh complaints received. In December 2025, the exchange resolved 109 complaints against 92 companies, despite receiving 141 new complaints, suggesting a higher influx of grievances than resolutions during that month.

In September 2025, BSE resolved 190 complaints against 126 companies and received 173 new complaints. Similarly, in October 2025, the exchange resolved 143 complaints against 90 companies, including carried-forward cases, and received 120 new complaints against 81 companies. These statistics highlight consistent activity in resolving complaints over recent months, with fluctuations in complaint inflows and resolutions based on market dynamics and investor involvement.

BSE Limited shares closed at Rs 3,712 on the NSE, marking a 2% increase from the previous day’s close.
