Rottanak expressed Cambodia’s interest in strengthening ties with India and other partners, believing in the positive impact such collaborations could have on various levels.

Acknowledging India’s global influence as the world’s largest democracy and a prominent voice of the Global South, Rottanak highlighted the country’s significant contributions on the international stage. He underscored the importance of sustainable and inclusive economic development, aligning with Cambodia’s aspirations for similar progress.

Furthermore, Rottanak emphasized India’s pivotal role as a key partner for ASEAN and Cambodia, expressing optimism about further enhancing their partnerships. He praised India’s advancements in renewable energy under PM Modi’s leadership, recognizing the country’s achievements in this sector.
