The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the green light to director Ajay Bhupathi’s much-anticipated movie ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’, starring Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, nephew of Mahesh Babu, in the lead role with a U/A certificate. The film is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on July 30 this year. Chandamama Kathalu Pictures, one of the film’s production houses, shared the news on social media, revealing that the film, labeled an intense love story, is set for a grand release.
Starring alongside Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni is Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, making her Telugu cinema debut. Set in Tirupati, the film narrates the tale of Vasu Babu and Manga, friends turned lovers whose blissful life faces a sudden upheaval. Determined to fight for their love, Vasu Babu refuses to leave without Manga, no matter the challenges.
Known for his intense storytelling, Ajay Bhupathi has crafted a youthful love story infused with impactful action and dramatic elements, attracting significant interest from fans and movie enthusiasts. The film, directed by Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX 100’ and ‘Mangalavaram’ fame, introduces Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni to the big screen, continuing the legacy of Superstars Krishna and Mahesh Babu.
Additionally, veteran actor and producer Mohan Babu will portray the character Venkatappaya Naidu, the antagonist in the film. Backed by producer P. Kiran under Chandamama Kathalu’s banner and presented by Ashwini Dutt, the movie promises a high-quality cinematic experience with a strong creative vision.
The technical team behind the film includes renowned talents such as G. V. Prakash Kumar handling the music composition, Jayakrishna Gummadi as the cinematographer, and Madhav Kumar Gullapalli overseeing the editing. The production design is managed by Sahi Suresh, while Real Sathish choreographs the action sequences, ensuring a visually captivating and engaging movie experience.
