The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved the comedy family entertainer ‘Con City’, directed by Harish Durairaj and starring Arjun Das and Anna Ben, for release with a U/A certificate. Power House Pictures, the film’s production house, announced the clearance on its timeline, revealing that the movie is set to hit screens on June 26. The film, inspired by real-life incidents, features a star-studded cast including Arjun Das, Anna Ben, Yogi Babu, and others.
The shooting for ‘Con City’ was completed in May this year, with the makers unveiling the characters played by various actors in the film. Arjun Das, who essays the role of an Electricity department employee, will be seen in three different avatars alongside VTV Ganesh. The movie, helmed by Harish Durairaj, also stars Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, Imman Annachi, and Akhilan in significant roles.
With music by Sean Roldan and cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan, ‘Con City’ promises to be an engaging cinematic experience. The film’s editing is handled by Arul Moses A, and the production design is overseen by Raj Kamal. Noteworthy contributions include costume design by Navaa Rambo Rajkumar, lyrics by Mohan Rajan, and choreography by Santhosh for dances and Action Sandhosh for fight sequences.
