The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved the Malayalam crime thriller ‘Dridam’ directed by Martin Joseph for release on May 8. The film, featuring Shane Nigam in the lead role, has been granted a ‘U/A 16+’ certificate. E4 Entertainment, the production house, confirmed the certification on their Instagram page.
Fans and movie enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating ‘Dridam’ since the release of its trailer. The film showcases Shane Nigam as a police sub inspector embarking on his first posting in a seemingly trouble-free area.
In ‘Dridam,’ Shane Nigam portrays Sub Inspector Vijay Radhakrishnan, whose life takes a dramatic turn when a mysterious murder case challenges his abilities. As pressure mounts and time ticks away, Vijay must race against the clock to solve the crime before it’s too late.
The technical team behind ‘Dridam’ includes Jomon John and Linto Devasia for story, screenplay, and dialogues, P. M. Unnikrishnan for cinematography, and Vinayakh for editing. Sreerag Saji composed the music, Sunil Das handled production design, Mahesh Mathew choreographed the action sequences, and Lekha Mohan designed the costumes.
