The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Academy in Ghaziabad has attained the prestigious ‘Sarvotkrisht (5-Star)’ accreditation under the National Standards for Civil Services Training Institutions (NSCSTI) Framework 2.0. Previously recognized as ‘Ati-Uttam (2-Star)’ in 2023, the academy focuses on molding diligent and ethical professionals while upholding excellence in crime investigation, prosecution, and vigilance.
Central Services Training Institutes (CSTIs) are accredited by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) in partnership with the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET), a body under the Quality Council of India (QCI). An assessment team from CBC and NABET recently evaluated the CBI Academy on various parameters, including training processes, faculty development, resources, and governance.
The assessment, conducted as per the NSCSTI Framework 2.0, scrutinized 43 metrics across eight key areas such as course design, faculty development, digitalization, and governance. Following a thorough review of the academy’s operations and practices, the team determined that the CBI Academy meets the highest standards outlined in the framework.
As a result of this evaluation, the CBI Academy in Ghaziabad has been granted the ‘Sarvotkrisht’ accreditation, signifying its exceptional performance in line with national training priorities. This recognition underscores the academy’s unwavering dedication to enhancing capabilities, delivering quality training, and striving for continuous improvement.
