Even over a month since the 2025 Bihar Assembly election results were announced, celebrations persist throughout the state. Recently, a victory event took place in Begusarai district, where senior BJP leaders and party members commemorated the NDA’s significant triumph with music and dance. Union Minister Giriraj Singh and Bihar Assembly Speaker Dr. Prem Kumar were spotted participating in the festivities, waving handkerchiefs and joining the party workers as a popular Bhojpuri song played in the background.
The atmosphere turned festive as party workers near the stage also engaged in waving handkerchiefs and dancing along with the leaders. Addressing the attendees, Assembly Speaker Dr. Prem Kumar expressed optimism that the BJP’s success in the elections would transcend Bihar and extend to other regions. He specifically mentioned the diminishing trust in West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and predicted a BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in West Bengal soon.
Dr. Prem Kumar highlighted the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in West Bengal, emphasizing the Election Commission’s efforts to identify and remove illegal Bangladeshi nationals during the upcoming elections. He reiterated the declining public confidence in the current West Bengal government and also commented on reported incidents of violence against the Hindu community in Bangladesh, condemning them as unfortunate.
The Speaker stressed the constitutional and moral obligation of the Bangladesh government to safeguard the lives and assets of minorities. He urged swift and decisive action by the government, emphasizing the need to arrest those responsible for the targeted violence against Hindus. The celebration in Begusarai coincided with a ceremony honoring workers at the Harsh Garden complex, led by Teghra MLA Rajneesh Kumar.
Addressing the audience, Rajneesh Kumar lauded the pivotal role of party workers in organizational development and praised their contributions to the progress of the Teghra Assembly constituency. He assured that key areas such as education, health, infrastructure, and employment would remain focal points, promising to elevate Teghra as a model constituency.
