Renowned celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani recently revealed that around 90% of his photoshoots with superstar Shah Rukh Khan took place at Khan’s residence, Mannat. Ratnani disclosed these insights during a podcast hosted by filmmaker-actress Pooja Bhatt. He mentioned that capturing Shah Rukh Khan’s candid moments often led to some of his most memorable photographs.
Pooja Bhatt commended Ratnani for making Shah Rukh Khan appear exceptionally attractive, noting a unique quality that Khan seemed to exude during their photoshoots. Ratnani reciprocated by sharing that the majority of his shoots with Shah Rukh Khan were conducted at the actor’s home. He recalled an instance where Khan, instead of posing for the camera, was engrossed in playing with Ratnani’s pet dog, Flash, resulting in natural and captivating photographs.
Ratnani reminisced about an unconventional photoshoot that stemmed from a chance encounter at a tyre shop. He narrated how he transformed 200 used tyres into a creative backdrop at Mehboob studio for a distinctive photoshoot with Shah Rukh Khan. Known for his annual celebrity calendar, Ratnani has collaborated closely with various prominent figures like Amitabh Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, and the Bachchan family for his renowned calendar shoots.
