Century Warriors displayed dominance by defeating Jolly Friends Sporting Club 18-9, while Phantom Stars secured their second consecutive win by beating NPV Smashers in the Butterfly Table Tennis Super League Maharashtra 2026. Mumbai Mozartt also returned to winning form with a 17-10 victory over NPV Smashers on the same day.
The tournament, organized by Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), aims to enhance grassroots talent development and elevate state-level competition. Eight teams are competing for the title, with each match consisting of nine games—six singles, two mixed doubles, and one men’s doubles match, each contributing points to the team’s tally.
Among the participating teams are Ping Panthers, Bayside Spinners TTC, Century Warriors, Jolly Friends Sports Club, Mumbai Mozartt, NPV Smashers, PBG Pune Jaguars, and Phantom Stars. Century Warriors, a semifinalist in the previous season, took an early lead against Jolly Friends Sporting Club with strong performances in various categories.
Phantom Stars relied on their experienced players to secure a victory over NPV Smashers, with key contributions from Sanil Shetty and Shruti Amrute. Mumbai Mozartt, after a recent loss, bounced back with notable performances from their players, including Ishan Khandekar and Divyanshi Bhowmick in the U-17 mixed doubles.
In other matches, Ping Panthers defeated PBG Pune Jaguars 15-12, and Bayside Spinners emerged victorious with a 15-12 win over Jolly Friends Sports Club.
