The men’s team, coached by Sardar Singh, includes players from the U18 Men’s Asia Cup 2026 title-winning squad. On the other hand, the women’s team, under coach Rani, comprises players who earned a bronze medal at the U18 Women’s Asia Cup 2026.
Both Indian teams are part of the Elite Pools in the competition, with the men’s team facing teams like Oman, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, while the women’s team competes against China, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
