Chambal Ghariyals displayed a strong all-round performance to secure a six-wicket victory over Malwa Stallions in the MPL T20 Scindia Cup 2026 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Chambal Ghariyals’ bowlers, led by Avesh Khan and Akshay Singh, quickly put pressure on Malwa Stallions, reducing them to 23/3 in just 4.1 overs.
Despite a shaky start, Malwa Stallions managed to post a total of 154/7 in their 20 overs, with Rishabh Singh Chauhan’s unbeaten 57 and Prashant Kasde’s quick 29 being the standout contributions. In response, Chambal Ghariyals faced early setbacks but recovered well, thanks to a solid partnership between Ankush Singh and Rohit Kumar Gupta, who added 73 runs for the third wicket.
Ankush Singh’s impressive unbeaten 58 off 36 balls, supported by Gupta’s 37 off 23 deliveries, guided Chambal Ghariyals to victory. Despite a brief hiccup with the dismissal of Gautam Raghuwanshi, Tripuresh Singh joined Ankush to steer the team to a comprehensive win.
