Chanmari FC staged a thrilling comeback with two stoppage-time goals by Lalruatsanga and Michael Lalbiaksanga to secure a 2-2 draw against Rajasthan United FC in the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 Championship Phase at Kalyani Stadium. Rajasthan had taken a 2-0 lead through Gerard Artigas and Thomyo L. Shimray, but Chanmari’s late goals denied them a victory. Rajasthan will finish fourth with 18 points, while Chanmari stands provisionally fifth with 15 points.

Rajasthan United FC initially dominated possession, but Chanmari posed a threat on the counter-attack, especially through Lalruatsanga and João Vitor de Paula Morais. Despite early saves by Chanmari’s goalkeeper, Rajasthan managed to establish a lead with Artigas scoring first and Thomyo adding another goal before halftime.

In the second half, Chanmari intensified their efforts, with Jota and Lalruatsanga leading the charge. Despite Rajasthan’s strong defense, Chanmari’s persistence paid off in stoppage time. Lalruatsanga’s goal in the 92nd minute and Lalbiaksanga’s strike in the 98th minute sealed a dramatic draw for Chanmari FC.

Chanmari FC’s late heroics salvaged a point in a thrilling encounter, leaving Rajasthan United FC disappointed after surrendering a two-goal lead in the dying moments of the match.
