The production house behind director Paul George’s upcoming film ‘Kattalan’ has unveiled the character portrayed by Sidhique. Cube Entertainments shared that Sidhique plays George Dā Peter in the movie. The film, set for a global release in May 2026, stars Antony Varghese in the lead role.
The announcement follows the earlier inclusion of music director Ravi Basrur in the film’s crew. Initially, Ajaneesh Loknath was slated to compose the music. The shooting for ‘Kattalan’ concluded in February this year, with a release date of May 14 initially planned.
Last year, the production house paid tribute to stuntmen who contributed to the film. They honored the bravery of these individuals by showcasing footage of a stunt mishap. ‘Kattalan’, a pan-Indian action thriller, has generated significant interest among fans and cinephiles.
Producer Shareef Muhammed, known for the hit film ‘Marco’, is spearheading this ambitious project. Alongside Antony Varghese and Rajisha Vijayan, the cast includes renowned actors like Kabir Duhan Singh and veteran Malayalam actors Jagadeesh and Siddique.
The film’s narrative, crafted by Paul George, Joby Varghese, and Jero Jacob, promises a gripping tale of power, betrayal, and perilous missions. With choreography by Sharief, costumes by Dhanya Balakrishnan, and cinematography by Renadive, ‘Kattalan’ boasts a talented crew.
