On the 77th Republic Day, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma raised the Tricolour at his official residence in Jaipur. He was saluted by a contingent of the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary, led by Company Commander Rajendra Sharma. Sharma conveyed his warm wishes to the people of the state on this significant day and honored the freedom fighters and framers of the Indian Constitution.

India was praised by the Chief Minister as the world’s most vibrant democracy with the largest written constitution globally. He highlighted the sacrifices made by the nation’s leaders for independence, emphasizing that today’s citizens benefit from the freedoms of a democratic country due to their dedication. The ceremony was attended by officials and staff from the Chief Minister’s Office and Residence.

In Jaipur, Chief Minister Sharma paid respects to martyrs at the Amar Jyoti Memorial, commemorating the warriors who laid down their lives for the nation. He also honored the brave martyrs at the Amar Jawan Jyoti memorial by laying a wreath, expressing admiration for their sacrifices in protecting the nation’s borders.
