Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Varanasi for a two-day trip and conducted a review meeting at the Circuit House in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s potential visit. He instructed senior officials to ensure all arrangements for the upcoming Women’s Conference, coinciding with the Prime Minister’s visit, are completed promptly. Adityanath emphasized the need for proper facilities such as women’s movement, vehicle parking, and drinking water at the event venue.
Yogi Adityanath also stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness not only at the event site but throughout the city. He directed officials to relocate stray dogs and cattle to shelter homes and organize street vendors efficiently. Special attention was given to security measures, with the Chief Minister calling for seamless traffic diversion plans to prevent inconvenience to the public during the Prime Minister’s visit.
During the meeting, Divisional Commissioner S Rajalingam presented upcoming projects through a PowerPoint presentation. Adityanath urged for the acceleration of the Ropeway Project and expedited construction of the International Cricket Stadium in Ganjari, aiming for a swift completion by the first week of July. Additionally, road widening projects at Manikarnika Ghat and Dalmandi were instructed to be expedited with strict adherence to quality standards.
