Regarding the United Nations’ relevance, Ambassador Angulo rejected the notion of irrelevance, emphasizing the organization’s essential role in maintaining peace and prosperity worldwide. He also mentioned upcoming visits by European Union leaders to India for Republic Day celebrations, indicating progress towards trade agreements between the two sides.
In light of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s visit to India, Angulo praised the strengthening of relations between India and Germany, highlighting the potential signing of a free trade agreement between India and the European Union. He noted the positive trajectory in trade agreements and visits, underscoring the mutual benefits of enhanced cooperation.
