Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath responded to the recent road accidents in Unnao and Barabanki, where ten individuals have died and many others are injured. He instructed officials to assist affected families promptly. Expressing sorrow for the fatalities, he directed immediate relief efforts and medical care for the injured.
CM Yogi Adityanath also mandated appropriate compensation for the families of the deceased. In Unnao, a bus traveling from Delhi to Bihar overturned, resulting in six deaths and multiple injuries. The accident, attributed to the driver falling asleep, occurred on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. Rescue operations were swiftly initiated, with critically injured individuals transferred to the Lucknow Trauma Centre.
In a separate incident in Barabanki, four pilgrims lost their lives and three were seriously injured when their car collided with a trailer on the Sultanpur-Lucknow Expressway. The collision, near Bhikhra village, caused severe damage to the car. Injured individuals were taken to the Community Health Centre and later referred to the KGMU Trauma Centre for treatment.
