Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) looking into alleged embezzlement at the Ram Temple will uncover the truth. He cautioned devotees against being swayed by efforts to tarnish the temple’s image and Ayodhya’s sanctity. Adityanath criticized the Congress and Samajwadi Party for their inconsistent stance on Lord Ram, highlighting their past actions hindering the temple’s construction and questioning the authenticity of the Ramayan epic.
The Chief Minister’s pledge for a transparent investigation follows opposition parties’ concerns over fund mismanagement by the temple staff. FIRs have been lodged against suspects, with accusations that Temple Trust officials misappropriated gold and jewelry offerings. Addressing a gathering in Rudauli, Adityanath emphasized that those alleging a scam are the same who opposed the temple movement and resorted to violence against devotees and kar sevaks.
Adityanath called out the Congress and SP for their hypocrisy, noting their past actions against Ram bhakts. He highlighted the irony of these parties now claiming to protect devotees’ interests. Regarding the SIT probe, Adityanath assured that the team, formed at the Trust’s request, would uncover any irregularities. He urged individuals with evidence to come forward and cooperate with the investigation.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of preserving the temple’s sanctity and urged devotees to ignore attempts to malign Ayodhya and the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Adityanath emphasized the values of dignity and devotion associated with the sacred site, cautioning against falling prey to efforts to defame it.
