Congress General Secretary, Organisation, K.C. Venugopal, has convened a crucial meeting with AICC General Secretaries, state in-charges, and state unit Presidents to address ongoing political issues. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday at Indira Bhavan, New Delhi. INC President Sh. Mallikarjun Kharge will preside over the gathering.
Recently, the “INDIA Janbandhan” meeting took place on June 8 to address internal strains within the alliance. Discussions at the meeting focused on the alliance’s future direction and coordination on key political matters.
During the meeting, Congress President Kharge emphasized the importance of a united front against the Narendra Modi government. He urged members of the INDIA bloc to strengthen their resolve to challenge the ruling dispensation on various national issues. Kharge also outlined a strategic plan to revitalize the Opposition alliance following setbacks in recent Assembly elections.
Kharge criticized the BJP-led NDA government on several fronts, including constitutional violations and economic concerns. He highlighted issues such as a lack of new investments for job creation, the growth of private monopolies, and the challenges faced by MSMEs.
