The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) uncovered eight Naxal munition dumps in Chhattisgarh, seizing arms and explosives in a coordinated anti-insurgency operation. Acting on precise intelligence, a team led by Commandant Anand Kumar conducted the operation in dense forests, leading to the recovery of a significant cache of weapons and explosives.
During the operation in Adri, Harra, and Madumpara villages, security personnel cordoned off the area and conducted a thorough search, preventing any potential escape routes. The seized items included firearms like a Barrel Grenade Launcher (BGL) rifle, IEDs, and materials for making explosives, thwarting a potential attack against security forces.
Officials reported the confiscation of various arms, explosives, and Naxal-used clothing, preventing a major destabilization plot in the region. The operation highlighted the ongoing efforts to combat Naxal activities in the Adri, Harra, and Madumpara belt, strengthening security and fostering development initiatives.
In a separate operation in Gariaband district, CRPF and police teams discovered a suspected Naxal dump in the Dandaipani forest, defusing explosives like pressure IEDs and seizing weapons and daily-use items. The CRPF reaffirmed its dedication to intelligence-led operations for peace and security in Chhattisgarh, aiming to eliminate Naxal influence from the region.
