The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 2025–26 term at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Governance matters were deliberated and approved during the meeting. As a gesture of appreciation, the DDCA gifted 20 motorcycles to the Delhi Police, Central District, for their support during cricket events at the venue.

A special resolution at the AGM appointed Hon’ble Justice M.M. Kumar as the Ombudsman and Ethics Officer of the DDCA. Additionally, key agenda items were discussed and endorsed, including the adoption of audited financial statements for 2025 and the reappointment of the Association’s Chartered Accountants. DDCA President Rohan Jaitley emphasized the significance of the AGM in upholding transparency and governance within the association.

Following the meeting, the DDCA officially handed over 20 motorcycles to the Delhi Police, Central District, recognizing their crucial role in ensuring safety and order during cricket matches at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The gesture aimed to enhance operational efficiency and acknowledge the police’s support in managing crowds and maintaining security during events.

Rishi Kumar Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, received the motorcycles on behalf of the Delhi Police, Central District, expressing gratitude for the vehicles that would aid in law enforcement and crowd management. The AGM and motorcycle distribution ceremony were attended by key DDCA officials, including Vice President Shikha Kumar and Secretary Ashok Sharma, demonstrating the association’s commitment to governance and partnerships for successful cricket event hosting in Delhi.
