A dead body was discovered inside a Scorpio car parked in Surajpur, Greater Noida, leading to a wave of panic in the area. The body of a young man, drenched in blood and with a country-made pistol, was found at the scene. The police are investigating all angles, including the possibility of suicide or murder, and have called in forensic experts for examination.
The police’s ‘Leopard’ team, on routine patrol, came across the suspiciously parked Scorpio-N car with its lights on. Despite calling out to the driver, there was no response, prompting a closer inspection. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers noticed blood coming from the body inside, along with a nearby country-made pistol.
The deceased, identified as Sauraj, a 36-year-old resident of Jumarthpur village in Delhi, was living in Migsun Green Society in Greater Noida. After being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead by doctors. The forensic team is collecting evidence from the scene to determine the exact cause of death, pending the post-mortem report.
The police are leaving no stone unturned in their investigation, examining CCTV footage and the deceased’s call records and connections. The case is being probed thoroughly to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide, murder, or something else, awaiting the results of the forensic analysis.
