Declan Rice scored two crucial goals in the second half, leading Arsenal to a 3-2 victory over Bournemouth and extending their lead by six points in the Premier League. Rice found the net twice from the edge of the Bournemouth penalty area, with assists from Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka in the 54th and 71st minutes respectively.

Bournemouth initially took the lead after a defensive error by Arsenal’s Gabriel allowed Evanilson to score in the 10th minute. However, Gabriel quickly made amends with a powerful strike just six minutes later, leveling the score. Despite Eli Junior Kroupi’s 76th-minute goal for Bournemouth, they couldn’t find the equalizer.

Aston Villa bounced back from their recent loss to Arsenal by securing a 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest. Ollie Watkins opened the scoring for Villa just before halftime, followed by goals from John McGinn and another from McGinn in the second half. Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White managed to pull one back in the 61st minute.

Brighton defeated Burnley 2-0 at home, with Georginio Rutter scoring in the 29th minute and Yasin Ayari adding another early in the second half. This win keeps Brighton in contention for European spots while pushing Burnley further into relegation trouble.

West Ham faced a tough defeat, gifting Wolverhampton Wanderers their first victory of the season. Wolves dominated the first half with goals from Jhon Arias, Hwang Hee-chan, and Mateus Mane, securing a 3-0 lead by halftime. Despite West Ham’s possession and passing, they failed to create any significant chances throughout the match.
