Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the stark divergence in paths between India and Pakistan during a speech at the Kargil War Memorial. He emphasized India’s focus on innovation and development, while Pakistan has integrated terrorism into its state policy. Singh pointed out that while India progresses in technology and growth, Pakistan continues to support cross-border terrorism.
Singh underscored the shift in priorities over the years, with India investing in innovation while Pakistan remains entangled in activities related to terrorism. He emphasized that India is advancing in technology, design, and space missions, whereas Pakistan is associated with terrorism and extremism. Singh reiterated India’s commitment to progress and readiness to counter any threats to its prosperity.
The Defence Minister recalled Operation Sindoor as a decisive response to terrorism, warning that any attempts to disrupt India’s growth would face a strong retaliation. He affirmed that India stands prepared to defend its sovereignty against any malicious actions. Singh also clarified that any future dialogues with Pakistan would be limited to discussions on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
