Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, speaking at the “NBT Utsav” event, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s transformative leadership over 12 years. He suggested that PM Modi’s potential fourth term post the 2029 Lok Sabha elections could propel India towards becoming a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Singh emphasized the fusion of tradition and technology as India’s key strength for leading confidently in the 21st century.

At the ceremony, Singh honored nine distinguished individuals with the “NBT Navratna” awards and presented one with the “NBT Bhushan” award. He commended the current government for dispelling the negative mindset prevalent before 2014 and achieving global recognition for India’s progress and initiatives like “Make in India” and semiconductor manufacturing.

Singh highlighted the government’s success in removing Article 370 from Kashmir and combating Maoism, silencing critics who doubted these actions. He noted India’s unique development model, combining economic growth with digital empowerment, good governance, and social justice, enabling consistent economic progress amidst global challenges.
