Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, speaking at the Shaurya Sandhya event on Army Day in Jaipur, emphasized that Operation Sindoor is ongoing until terrorism’s ideology is eradicated. Singh stated that India’s pursuit of peace will persist as long as the mindset of terrorism exists. He highlighted the significance of Operation Sindoor, not just as a display of military strength but also as a symbol of courage and restraint.

As Army paratroopers descended into the stadium amid chants of ‘Jai Ho,’ a patriotic fervor filled the venue. Singh praised the meticulous planning and humanitarian values behind the action against terrorists during Operation Sindoor. The event showcased India’s military prowess and national character.

The day in Jaipur witnessed a grand military display featuring BrahMos missiles, tanks, rocket launchers, and advanced equipment. Apache attack helicopters and Jaguar fighter jets captivated the crowds with aerial maneuvers. The Army Day Parade, held outside a military cantonment for the first time, honored soldiers martyred in Operation Sindoor.

Rajnath Singh recognized the contributions of women in the armed forces and highlighted ongoing changes to expand opportunities for them. He underscored the importance of strengthening and modernizing the armed forces in the face of global uncertainty. Singh expressed India’s commitment to bolstering its Army to be among the world’s strongest by 2047, emphasizing the Army’s role as a harbinger of peace.
