Singh praised Gujarat’s historical significance, referring to it as a guiding spirit that has shaped India’s trajectory through influential leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He commended Gujarat’s industrial culture for its role in driving economic growth and converting challenges into opportunities, establishing the state as a key contributor to India’s progress.
The Defence Minister highlighted the evolution of the Vibrant Gujarat initiative, originally a state-level investors’ summit initiated by PM Modi in 2003, which has now garnered global recognition and expanded its scope significantly. Singh also lauded the diversity of sectors showcased at the conference exhibition, emphasizing the state’s contributions to various industries crucial for national development.
Singh participated in a seminar focusing on defence and aerospace industries, engaging with representatives from prominent companies and institutions. He underscored the importance of fostering an environment conducive to private enterprise and innovation, acknowledging the significant contributions of industry players in the defence manufacturing sector. Singh expressed confidence in India’s ability to not only envision but actively shape its future, aiming to develop products that meet both domestic needs and global demands.
