Defending champion Eugenio Chacarra extended his lead to four shots in the Hero Indian Open by carding a 2-under 70, bringing his total to 10-under par after three rounds. Alex Fitzpatrick and MJ Daffue are tied for second place, trailing Chacarra by four strokes at 6-under par. David Law and Freddy Schott are tied for fourth place, both having played under par in all three rounds.

OP Chouhan is the top Indian player, positioned T-20 with a score of 1-over par after carding a 1-over 73. Indian-American Akshay Bhatia missed the cut after bogeying the 17th hole to finish at 5-over par. Chouhan had a mixed third round, finishing at 1-over par with a total score of 1-over par for the tournament.

Chacarra, starting with four pars, surged ahead with three consecutive birdies on the front nine. Despite two bogeys on the back nine, he closed the day at 10-under par, holding a significant lead. If Chacarra wins, he would become the fourth player to defend the Hero Indian Open title.
