Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta emphasized the importance of enhancing citizens’ quality of life while inaugurating civic projects in the Rohini Assembly Constituency. Gupta highlighted the significance of visible development in roads, facilities, and public spaces for community well-being. The projects included a new toilet facility at Green Valley Apartments and a Recreation Centre at Lotus Apartments, among others.

Gupta also unveiled several RMC road projects, aiming to strengthen civic infrastructure and enhance public amenities in the constituency. He stressed the crucial role of neighborhood-level infrastructure in impacting citizens’ daily lives directly. Quality roads, sanitation facilities, and community spaces were underscored as vital elements of a well-planned urban environment.

He insisted that payments to contractors should only be made upon satisfactory completion certified by local residents or associations. Gupta highlighted the importance of not just completing projects but ensuring their quality, durability, and usefulness to the public.

The Speaker noted the continuous investments in civic infrastructure in Rohini, focusing on improving roads, public facilities, parks, and community assets. He emphasized that the goal of development goes beyond physical infrastructure creation to enhancing neighborhoods and residents’ quality of life. The projects inaugurated mark a step towards building a more accessible, livable, and citizen-friendly urban environment.
