Delhi BJP’s Media Head, Praveen Shankar Kapoor, criticized AAP’s Delhi Convenor, Saurabh Bharadwaj, for a social media post targeting Meta and WhatsApp. Kapoor labeled Bharadwaj as hypocritical, questioning the validity of his claims and motives. He clarified that suspending WhatsApp accounts for excessive forwarded messages is a standard Meta policy, emphasizing Bharadwaj’s misleading statements.

Bharadwaj’s actions were further scrutinized by the Delhi BJP spokesperson, accusing him of provoking the youth with misleading information about Meta. Additionally, Delhi BJP President, Harsh Malhotra, accused opposition parties of exploiting student movements for political gain. Malhotra highlighted the disruptive nature of current events, attributing them to the political strategies of these parties.

Malhotra urged leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal to be accountable for recent incidents, including breaching security at the Prime Minister’s residence and avoiding discussions on the NEET examination in Parliament. The BJP’s stance underscores a narrative of opposition parties manipulating student movements for their political agendas.
