Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized the Aam Aadmi Party’s President Saurabh Bharadwaj for allegedly spreading falsehoods about the BJP-led Delhi government’s handling of pollution. Sachdeva accused the AAP of providing inaccurate information regarding dengue cases in Delhi, labeling it as “political corruption” for distorting facts. The AAP’s claim of 3,746 dengue cases aligns with official figures but includes patients not residing in Delhi. The BJP spokesperson clarified that many of these patients sought treatment in Delhi only after their condition deteriorated.
Sachdeva also condemned the AAP for misrepresenting a sewage treatment plant as a brick kiln to criticize anti-pollution measures. He highlighted that the plant, inaugurated by Bharadwaj in the past, complies with regulations and emits steam, not smoke. Sachdeva urged AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal to halt what he termed as malicious propaganda, warning of political repercussions if such misinformation continues.
