Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra criticized Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly showing double standards regarding paper leaks in Punjab and other places. Malhotra pointed out that while Kejriwal was vocal about paper leaks in Delhi, he remained silent on similar issues in AAP-governed Punjab. He questioned the delay in denying the allegations of paper leaks in Punjab by Kejriwal and other AAP leaders.
Malhotra highlighted the ongoing discussions about alleged paper leaks in Punjab, particularly in the Pharmacist examination, which led to student protests demanding the resignation of Punjab’s Education Minister. He noted that despite provoking student protests in Delhi, Kejriwal did not address the demand for his own Minister’s resignation in Punjab. Malhotra also mentioned the pressure on AAP leaders to address the paper leak issues in Punjab and Karnataka.
The Delhi BJP President criticized Kejriwal for claiming that no papers were leaked in Punjab and attributing it to his government’s efforts to prevent cheating. He described Kejriwal’s response as an attempt to save his government, emphasizing the public’s understanding of the situation.
