Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized Aam Aadmi Party’s Saurabh Bharadwaj for accusing the BJP government of turning Delhi into a “cancer capital” through waste disposal practices. Sachdeva clarified that the waste from Bhalswa being moved to Kirari is inert garbage ash used for land filling, not posing a health risk.
Sachdeva refuted Bharadwaj’s claims of contaminating underground water sources with garbage ash and accused him of engaging in fear-mongering through false statements. The BJP President denounced the AAP’s alleged political tactics and demanded explanations from Bharadwaj regarding the AAP government’s actions in Kirari.
Highlighting improvements in waterlogging issues after the BJP government took charge in 2025, Sachdeva emphasized the efforts made in areas like Sharma Colony to address drainage problems. He warned Bharadwaj against spreading lies and sarcastic remarks, predicting a bleak future for the AAP in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections.
