Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for focusing on negative politics instead of Delhi’s development during its 11-year rule. He mentioned that AAP’s false and negative political rhetoric led to their defeat in the Delhi Municipal Corporation by-elections, where BJP won 7 out of 12 seats. Despite this loss, AAP continues to spread false narratives, which Sachdeva believes will lead to further rejection by Delhi’s residents. Sachdeva also refuted AAP’s claims against Delhi Government Minister Ashish Sood, stating that such baseless allegations only reflect AAP leaders’ narrow mindset.
Sachdeva emphasized that AAP’s labeling of certain colonies as “small” is misleading, as these areas have a strong BJP presence that contributed to AAP’s loss of power in Delhi. He clarified that Minister Sood’s comments were not meant to demean any specific group but rather highlight the narrow thinking of AAP leaders. Sachdeva warned that if AAP persists in spreading false narratives, the people of Delhi, who have already voted them out once, will continue to reject them in future elections.
