Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for spreading false information about schoolteachers conducting a stray dog survey, attributing it to their frustration post the Assembly elections. This comes as the Delhi Police’s Special Cell initiated an investigation into a complaint by the Delhi government’s Education Department regarding misinformation on social media.
Sachdeva highlighted that the AAP’s claims were based on misinterpretation, citing a circular from the Delhi government that did not mention teachers being assigned dog count duties. He accused the AAP of attempting to confuse the public and undermine the government’s developmental efforts in education under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
The Delhi BJP President accused AAP leaders, including former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, of misleading the public and lacking respect for teachers. He clarified that the circular actually instructed school or college guards to prevent stray dogs from entering the premises. Sachdeva emphasized that the era of confusion politics in Delhi is ending and will also be eradicated in Punjab.
