Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra criticized the AAP’s education initiatives in Punjab following the tragic suicide of a girl in Amritsar due to unpaid school fees. Malhotra highlighted the incident as a stark reminder of the failure of the Punjab AAP government’s proclaimed education revolution.
Malhotra pointed out that despite claims of educational reforms by the AAP leaders, the reality in both Delhi and now Punjab tells a different story. He emphasized that under the AAP’s governance, government schools deteriorated, and fees in private schools soared, leaving parents struggling.
The BJP leader noted that the recent suicide in Amritsar has laid bare the inadequacies of the AAP’s educational policies, exposing what he termed as the true nature of the Kejriwal-led team’s agenda. Malhotra underscored the disconnect between the leaders’ public proclamations and the ground realities faced by students and parents.
Kejriwal and Sisodia’s recent praise of Punjab’s private schools on social media was juxtaposed with the tragic incident, revealing a stark contrast in perceptions of the education system’s functioning and the challenges faced by students and families.
