India fell short at 360/7 while chasing a challenging target of 388, with England’s disciplined death bowling securing their victory. Apart from Rohit’s century, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli contributed with 77 and 74 runs respectively.
The key difference in the match was England’s explosive finish with the bat, scoring 82 runs in the final five overs. Jos Buttler’s quick 41 runs and Jacob Bethell’s crucial spell turned the game in England’s favor.
Bethell’s economical spell and Sam Curran’s clever bowling restricted India’s charge, leading to their defeat. Despite Rohit’s exceptional performance, India couldn’t overcome England’s strong finish.
India’s chase started well, but England’s bowlers, especially Curran and Bethell, made crucial breakthroughs to secure the series win.
