Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva expressed sadness over the death of nine individuals in a tragic fire incident in Vivek Vihar, east Delhi. The mishap occurred early in the morning due to an explosion in an air conditioning unit of a building in the B-Block area.

Sachdeva, accompanied by Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra, local MLA Sanjay Goel, Councillor Pankaj Luthra, and Shahdara District President Deepak Gaba, visited the affected families to offer condolences on behalf of the BJP. The Delhi BJP president praised MLA Sanjay Goel for his quick response, which aided in the rescue of around 18 to 20 people during the fire brigade and police operations.

The BJP assured its support to the grieving families during this difficult time and wished for the swift recovery of the injured. Minister Harsh Malhotra visited the fire-affected house in Vivek Vihar, met with affected families, and coordinated the transfer of the injured to the Trauma Centre after speaking with doctors at GTB Hospital. Malhotra described the incident as tragic and conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the affected families.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also expressed sorrow over the fire incident in Vivek Vihar, ensuring all possible assistance to those impacted.
