Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has announced a protest outside the Congress headquarters to denounce the disruption caused by Youth Congress workers at the AI Impact Summit in Delhi. Sachdeva will lead a march from Man Singh Road roundabout to the Congress office at 24 Akbar Road to highlight what he perceives as the negative attitude of the Congress party. He emphasized that the individuals detained by the police for their disruptive actions were not affiliated with the Congress but were hired troublemakers.
Sachdeva criticized the disruptive behavior during the AI Summit, stating that while Indian youth were showcasing their innovations and praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, these disruptive actions were unwarranted. He expressed disappointment that individuals claiming to be associated with the Congress, particularly Rahul Gandhi, were involved in actions that could tarnish India’s reputation on a global platform. The Delhi BJP President highlighted that the Summit was a testament to India’s progress as a developed nation and the continuous display of Indian youth’s talent, which was overshadowed by the disruptive actions of alleged Congress supporters.
BJP MP Sambit Patra alleged that the protests by Indian Youth Congress members at the Summit were a premeditated scheme orchestrated at Rahul Gandhi’s residence, with involvement from Priyanka Gandhi. Patra condemned the actions as “topless, brainless, and shameless,” accusing the Congress party of bringing disgrace to the nation and holding its top leadership responsible for the incident. He claimed that the protest was not an impromptu event but a meticulously planned endeavor involving high-ranking members of the Indian Youth Congress.
