Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva praised Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh for suspending three senior Delhi Jal Board officials due to their absence during working hours. The Minister took this action following complaints about the unavailability of zonal bill officers. Sachdeva emphasized the government’s commitment to public welfare and applauded the Minister’s stance against bureaucratic negligence.
Sachdeva criticized Delhi AAP Convener Saurabh Bharadwaj for questioning the suspension, highlighting that the current service rules are consistent with those under the previous government. He contrasted the BJP’s approach of recommending suspensions for officials failing in their duties with the alleged misuse of power by the Kejriwal administration. According to Sachdeva, the BJP government prioritizes accountability and transparency in dealing with corruption and inefficiency.
The Delhi BJP President further pointed out instances of alleged misconduct during the Kejriwal regime, such as the mistreatment of officials, to underscore the differences in governance styles. Sachdeva suggested that past administrations sought to protect their interests rather than uphold ethical standards. He emphasized the need for fair and just disciplinary actions against officials who obstruct the rule of law.
