Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta handed out appointment letters to 109 NDMC employees appointed on compassionate grounds and Medical Health Cards to Contractual Employees of the civic agency. The event took place at the NDCC Convention Centre on Jai Singh Road. Gupta praised NDMC’s efforts, highlighting the positive impact on 109 families through their initiatives.
Delhi Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, along with other dignitaries, attended the event. Gupta emphasized that these appointments are not just jobs but crucial support systems for families. She expressed satisfaction that nearly 90 women were among the recipients of the appointment letters.
Gupta also lauded the distribution of Medical Health Cards to contractual employees, calling it a significant relief. She stressed the importance of such facilities in alleviating financial burdens on families during medical emergencies. The Chief Minister underlined the government’s commitment to inclusive and transparent governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
