International Women’s Day, observed annually on March 8, celebrates women’s resilience, achievements, and contributions globally. The theme for International Women’s Day 2026, ‘Give to Gain,’ underscores collective support and urges communities to empower women by sharing opportunities and resources.

Despite advancements, challenges persist in women’s empowerment, with advocates stressing its broader societal significance beyond being solely a women’s issue. They emphasize the crucial role of women’s equal participation in decision-making processes for a more just and inclusive world.
