On the eve of the NEET UG 2026 retest, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta declared that all candidates can travel for free on DTC buses on the exam day. Additionally, their family members can wait in special cooling zones near the 97 examination centers. Chief Minister Gupta extended her best wishes to the students and families, ensuring a hassle-free experience regarding transportation and waiting times. To avail of the free bus travel, candidates only need to display their valid NEET admit card to the bus conductor.

Special cooling zones are being set up by the district administration near all 97 examination centers in the city. This initiative aims to provide comfort not only to the students but also to their parents and family members. Chief Minister Gupta emphasized the importance of addressing the concerns and discomfort faced by parents waiting outside the examination halls for extended periods. The government has taken steps to create these cooling zones with seating, resting facilities, and essential amenities like clean drinking water, lime water, ORS, tea, and first-aid support.

Delhi’s government is dedicated to offering support and convenience to students during their educational and competitive exams. Chief Minister Gupta highlighted the positive impact of ensuring parents’ comfort and reassurance, which in turn boosts students’ confidence during the examination. By prioritizing the well-being of both students and their families, the government aims to create a conducive environment for the NEET UG 2026 retest.
