Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has extended an invitation to Lionel Messi’s fans to enjoy the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final at city restaurants and cafes this weekend. The government has permitted these establishments to host guests until 4 a.m., allowing football enthusiasts to witness the monumental event together.

Chief Minister Gupta emphasized the city’s 24×7 business-friendly environment established through government reforms, enabling restaurants, cafes, and eligible establishments to accommodate fans until the early hours of the morning. This initiative aims to facilitate a collective experience of football’s grandest night in the capital.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Gupta, the Delhi government has implemented key measures, including the facilitation of 24×7 business operations. These efforts have contributed to economic growth, with the budget increasing from Rs 75,000 crore to Rs 1 lakh crore. Additionally, the government has focused on Ease of Doing Business reforms and various support systems for MSMEs and manufacturing sectors.
