The match began with Turan Bayramov securing a victory in the 74kg men’s category, setting the tone for Delhi’s dominance. Anjli continued the winning streak in the 62kg women’s tie with an impressive performance, extending Delhi’s lead. Anastasiya Alpyeeva and Karla Godinez Gonzalez further strengthened Delhi’s position with their wins in the subsequent bouts.
Delhi’s captain, Sujeet Kalkal, ensured the team’s success by securing a confident win over Ali Rahimzade, solidifying Delhi’s lead with five consecutive bout wins. The score at the halfway stage stood at Delhi Dangal Warriors 5 – 0 Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals.
